JOHN BARTOLOMEO is a member of the Law Society of Upper
Canada, called to the bar in 2002. He represents workers
in all phases of workers' compensation advocacy, occupational
health & safety issues and employment/labour matters.
John has worked as Tribunal Counsel for the Workplace
Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal. As Tribunal Counsel
he appeared before Panels to provide assistance at hearings,
ranging from examining expert witnesses to submissions
regarding the appropriate practice. In private practice,
he represents workers before the Workplace Safety and
Insurance Board, Panels of the Workplace Safety and
Insurance Appeals Tribunal, and where necessary, Provincial
Court Judges.
In additional to a Bachelor of Laws from Osgoode Hall
Law School, John holds an Honours Degree in History
and Political Science. He is also a member of the Canadian
Bar Association and the Advocates' Society.
